Haley and Scott are two of my favorite clients and they were married at one of my all-time favorite venues! The Sonnenalp Hotel is gorgeous whether its during the summer when everything is in full bloom or in the winter covered in fresh snow. For their wedding, we combined a palette of soft ivory, blush, and peach with a variety of hearty greens.
Haley's bouquet was created using flowers from a local farm such as dahlias, lisianthus, and statice. Textural explosion grass, colorado lace, and lace cap hydrangea gave the arrangements a feminine and organic feel. We brought these elements to the ceremony and reception as well. You could find us covering all sorts of things with greenery on their wedding day! We draped our birch arch with chiffon fabric then added lush greens and florals to make it feel as if it was part of the riverbank.
For cocktail hour, my team decked out the stairway in the cozy bar lounge. This viney display of greenery and flowers was made even more stunning with candles lining the stairway. This statement really was a show stopper and a perfect example of quality over quantity.
Nothing beats the reception space at The Sonnenalp. Their glass enclosed terrace offers the most beautiful light and a gorgeous view of the hotel pool. Erika Overholt Photography did such an excellent job capturing all of the details of this perfect day.
